Project description:
The project developer commissioned GINGER HPC GmbH (the legal successor to HPC AG), Bremen branch, to conduct the environmental impact assessment (EIA) and prepare the environmental impact assessment report (EIA report) as part of the permitting process for an ammonia terminal in the Port of Hamburg.Reason:
- At the Blumensandhafen site, located on the premises of enport GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg (formerly Oiltanking Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG), MB Energy Holding GmbH & Co. KG plans to construct and operate an ammonia terminal for the transshipment and storage of liquid ammonia.
- Ammonia can be used as a hydrogen carrier for transporting green hydrogen over long distances, as well as a fuel.

- Help prepare the scoping document and participate in the scoping meeting
- Conducting the preliminary environmental impact assessment (UVU) and preparing the environmental impact assessment (UVP) report; addressing objections
- Environmental consulting and support throughout the process
