Quay Renovation on the Külken Peninsula, Bremerhaven

Project description:

A former industrial site on the Külken Peninsula in Bremerhaven is to be redeveloped into a sustainable residential neighborhood. As part of this redevelopment, the existing shoreline reinforcement/quay will also be renovated. In addition to the standard geotechnical investigation methods, a special method (Vibracore) was required on the water side next to the sheet pile wall/quay to assess the subsoil and collect samples.
